Chandler (AZ) firefighters have been working a fire at a lithium-ion battery storage site since Monday.

The fire has been burning in the building since then.  Firefighters have kept a fire suppression system flowing water on the fire and vented the building to control the burning.

A fire that was in a similar location where firefighters were injured inspired the Fire Department to study how to handle these types of situations.

LOVELL, Maine —

Lovell residents voted 202-30 to pass an ordinance killing a proposed 180-acre solar farm in a town meeting Saturday morning.

The farm, proposed by Walden Renewables, drew the ire of residents for its potential impact on the views of the surrounding mountains, as well as threatening the rural landscape of the town according to residents.

If you have local officials that are willing to destroy the homes and lifestyles of their residents, they MUST be replaced by someone that will protect the local homeowners. This is a great example of the reason Indiana's population is dwindling every year.

This is a map of the proposed solar farms that will be built outside of Grandview, Indiana. This project will be leasing at least 30 parcels of land, mostly farm land that is currently producing crops. Every parcel of land that has a series of black numbers with a white border around the numbers, is a parcel of land where they want to place solar farms.

Solar panels are not as "green" as we are led to believe.

There is a massive push to reduce our reliance on fossil fuels for "the preservation of our home planet."

Solar Panels ate represented as being completely sustainable, such claims often gloss over – or worse, ignore – the very real damage caused through the production and use of this technology.

Maybe Solar PV panels don't need to be abandoned outright, but  a more honest, and realistic conversation needs to be had about them.
